SEBI Notification – SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements), 2015 – Sixth amendment – 16th December, 2025
This amendment primarily standardises and updates terminology across the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015 by replacing references to “Share Transfer Agent” with “Registrar to an Issue and Share Transfer Agent (RTA)” to align with current regulatory nomenclature. Corresponding changes have been carried out in Regulation 7 and across multiple Schedules (Schedules I, II, III, VI and VII), including corporate governance disclosures, event-based disclosures, and compliance-related provisions. The amendment is clarificatory and harmonising in nature, does not introduce new compliance obligations, and comes into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
