MCA vide GC No. 19/2021 dated 08.12.2021-
MCA has decided to allow companies whose AGMs are due to be held in the year 2021, to conduct AGM through Video Conferencing (VC)/ Other Audio-Visual Means (OAVM), on or before 30th June, 2022. This shall not be construed as extension of time for holding AGM for the year 2021.
Companies which have not adhered to the allowed time line for holding their AGM, shall have to face legal actions as per the provisions of the Act.

MCA has decided to allow Companies to conduct their EGM through Video Conferencing (VC)/ Other Audio-Visual Means (OAVM) or transact items through postal ballot as per the relevant provisions and requirements as notified earlier, on or before 30th June, 2022.
