Maharashtra Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 2017:
This act subsumed the earlier act of Maharashtra Shops and Establishments Act. All the establishment are required to apply for the registration under the new act on expiry of the registration under the old act. Few provision like filing of annual returns are incorporated under the new act.
