The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) issued General Circular No. 01/2026 dated 24 February 2026 introducing the Companies Compliance Facilitation Scheme, 2026 (CCFS-2026). The scheme has been launched to provide a one-time opportunity for companies to complete pending filings of Annual Returns and Financial Statements with the MCA-21 registry. It aims to reduce the compliance burden on companies, particularly MSMEs and other entities that have defaulted in timely filings, and to encourage them to regularize their statutory compliances under the Companies Act, 2013.
