SEBI Notification – SEBI MF Regulations, 1996 – Second amendment

SEBI, vide its notification dated 31^st October 2025 has amended SEBI (Mutual fund regulations), 1996, to broaden mutual fund investment scope to include REITs, tightens liquidity norms, aligns group-level exposure limits, and simplifies compliance and cost regulations—enhancing both diversification and investor protection in the mutual fund ecosystem.
